Ash Ketchum
Ash Ketchum is a young Pokemon trainer that wishes to become a Pokemon master. Ash has lots of spirit and confidence, but once in a while, he's a bit clumsy. Ash seems to get in a lot of tough situations. |
Misty
Misty is a water Pokemon trainer that is a little older than Ash. Many suspect that she has a little crush on Ash, but this is not confirmed. She is one ofthe leaders of the Cerulean Gym.

Brock
Brock is mostly a rock Pokemon trainer, although he has captured Vulpix and Zubat, which are not rock types. Brock has a "thing" for pretty ladies, and he goes crazy when he sees one. Brock wants to become the world's greatest Pokemon Breeder. |
Tracy
Tracy is a newer character on the show. Tracy is a Pokemon Watcher. He sketches and studies different types of Pokemon. Tracy has a Venonat, a Maril, and a Scyther for his Pokemon team.

Gary Oak
Gary Oak is Ash's next door neighbor and arch rival. Gary thinks he's so great, and he's kind of a snob because of it. Gary has lots of cheering fans and a pretty nice convertible to drive around in. |
Professor Oak
Professor Oak is the one who gave sleepyhead Ash his first Pokemon, Pikachu. Oak is also the one who created the PokeDex. Professor Oak is admired by many Pokemon Trainers and Watchers around the world.

Pikachu
Pikachu is Ash's cute little companion on his journey to fulfill his dream of becoming a Pokemon Master. Pikachu has an electric personality, so he often zaps Ash and his friends. Most of the time, though, Pikachu electrocutes Team Rocket or its opponent. |
Charizard
Charizard won't battle let alone listen to Ash's commands. Charizard is poorly trained but helps Ash out in a few situations. Ash doesn't know why Charizard doesn't obey him because he was very obedient as a Charmander.

Team Rocket
Team Rocket always disturbs Ash and Gang and they always seem to be up to no good. Jessie is usually the most evil of the group, but Meowth is pretty evil, himself. |

Mew
Mew is an extremely rare and elusive Pokemon that is extremely challenging to capture. Mew's evil clone, Mewtwo, duels Mew in "Mewtwo Strikes Back". Good luck in catching this little guy.
